Les Miz Star Ramin Karimloo to Release Country/Broadgrass EP

first_img Ramin Karimloo The Road To Find Out – East will be the first of four EPs in a series from Karimloo, with North, South and West to follow. Tracks on East will include bluegrass and folk inspired renditions of “Oh What A Beautiful Morning” from Oklahoma, “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables” from Les Miz and two songs written by Karimloo and English actor Hadley Fraser: “Losing” and “Broken.” Ramin Karimloo has the French thing down, from his current leading role on Broadway as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and as the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies. So, what’s the next stop for Karimloo? Would you ever guess Appalachia? The Canadian actor will release The Road To Find Out – East, a new country/Broadgrass (that’s Broadway meets Bluegrass) EP on April 7. Check out a preview of the new album below. Les Miserables View Commentscenter_img Karimloo is making his Broadway debut as Jean Valjean in the new revival of Les Miserables, which opened on March 23. He performed the role in the recent Toronto production and in the West End. He originated the role of the Phantom in the West End run of Love Never Dies. Karimloo also starred in The Phantom of the Opera in the West End and in the 25th anniversary concert filmed at Royal Albert Hall.
