Daniel Chima’s first-half goal means Sligo face an uphill battle to keep their Champions League dream alive at Molde’s expense after the Norwegians won 1-0. The Nigerian struck three minutes before half-time at The Showgrounds as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men earned an advantage to take back to Norway for Tuesday’s return leg. Ian Baraclough’s men were disappointing in the first half and their only noteworthy effort on goal was a 24th-minute shot from Evan McMillan, which was saved. Jo Inge Berget hit the woodwork seven minutes before half-time but the hosts did not heed the warning and fell behind four minutes later when Chima broke through. The 2012 Irish League champions pressed hard for an equaliser in the final quarter, with Joseph Ndo, Jeff Henderson, Lee Lynch, Kieran Djilali and Alan Keane all threatening. However, Molde maintained their advantage and are now firm favourites to reach the third qualifying round. Press Association
MORE MNF: DraftKings Showdown | Betting previewIs Jordan Howard playing Monday night?UPDATE: Howard is officially OUT.The big issue with Howard (shoulder) has been his clearance for contact. He hasn’t played since Week 9 due to a shoulder injury, and even though Doug Pederson was suggesting weeks ago that it might happen, the clearance hadn’t happened as of this weekend. The Athletic’s Zach Berman doesn’t expect Howard to play Monday. There’s always a chance Howard receives clearance for contact in the last 48 hours leading up to kickoff, in which case he’d have the chance of being active. But if he hasn’t been cleared after more than a month, it seems unlikely it would happen in that short span. If Howard was cleared and active, it’d be tough to predict his workload split with Miles Sanders. Both would still be FLEX plays, at worst, if both are active. If you own Howard, you probably operated under the assumption that he’d be out this week. If not, you’ll probably be in a pickle if he’s out Monday. You could grab either of the two backup RBs if Howard is in a RB slot, Philadelphia’s Jay Ajayi or New York’s Wayne Gallman. Ideally Howard is at least in your FLEX spot, which gives you options — potentially Dallas Goedert, Darius Slayton, JJ Arcega-Whiteside or Kaden Smith. Jordan Howard and Nelson Agholor are both questionable heading into Monday Night Football for the Eagles against the Giants. Howard hasn’t played since Week 9 due to a shoulder injury, while Agholor’s knee injury appears to have popped up almost out of nowhere. With some fantasy playoff matchups still hanging in the balance, the official active/inactive status of Howard and Agholor could matter a ton for them and other players, such as Miles Sanders, Dallas Goedert and JJ Arcega-Whiteside.The official active/inactive report drops about 6:50 p.m. ET, and we’ll have updates through that time here and on Twitter @SN_Fantasy. Is Nelson Agholor playing Monday night?UPDATE: Agholor is officially OUT. Agholor (knee) was expected to get a limited practice in Saturday ahead of the Monday night game, but he missed the practice instead, according to The Athletic. That has him set up as a true game-time decision for Monday night as he deals with a knee injury. It didn’t keep him out in Week 13 when he only came off the field for eight plays.Agholor’s most direct WR replacement if that’s where you have him in your lineup would be rookie JJ Arcega-Whiteside, and there are also some leagues where Giants’ wideout Darius Slayton could be available as a replacement, too. If Agholor is in your FLEX spot, the best bet as a replacement may be Dallas Goedert, who should see six-plus targets again if Agholor is out.
